MyEduIn maintains a written information security program, appropriate to the sensitivity of the personal information we process, consistent with the requirements of the amended Children's Online Privacy Protection Act Rule. Access to Student Data and other personal information is restricted to authorized personnel who have undergone background checks and complete annual privacy and security training. We maintain access logs recording access to Student Data, available to Schools upon request.

9. GDPR Compliance

9.5 Your Rights Under GDPR

You have the following rights concerning your Personal Data:

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@myeduin.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request.

10. Retention and Deletion of Your Information

Individual, Parent, and Teacher Accounts (non-School Accounts): You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by emailing support@myeduin.com with the subject line "DELETE MY DATA" and the account's associated email address in the body of the message. To protect against unauthorized requests, we will only process a deletion request sent from the email address on file for the account (or, for a Child User's Restricted Account, from the Parent's email on file). Upon a verified request, we delete the associated personal information immediately, except where retention is required to comply with a legal obligation.

School Accounts: Deletion requests for Student Data must be directed to the School, which controls the data. We honor a School's deletion request within 10 business days of receipt.

Aggregated/anonymized data: retained indefinitely, as it does not identify any individual.

9.7 Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your Personal Data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

9.8 International Data Transfers

MyEduIn processes and stores personal information on a regional basis, as described in Section 5.6. Where personal information is nonetheless transferred internationally — for example, for limited administrative, support, or backup purposes — we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another legally recognized transfer mechanism.

9.9 Complaints

If you believe our processing of your Personal Data infringes GDPR, you can complain to a supervisory authority in your country of residence.

11. Schools and Student Use

This "Schools and Student Use" notice supplements our Privacy Policy in connection with educational institutions' use of our Services. MyEduIn L.L.C. is dedicated to providing innovative educational content. We are committed to implementing best practices to protect the privacy of all our users, including students and educators. We have established additional controls and procedures for schools, school districts, and teachers (collectively referred to as "Schools") when they use our Services for educational purposes. When our Services are used as part of a School's educational program, the personal information related to the School's student users ("School Users") may include information defined as "education records" by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act ("FERPA") or other information protected by similar state student data privacy laws. We refer to this information as "Student Personal Data". When acting as a service provider to Schools, MyEduIn L.L.C. may be considered a "School Official" with a legitimate educational interest in accessing student data when providing our Services to Schools, in compliance with FERPA and other applicable state student data privacy laws.

Schools own all Student Data submitted, collected, or generated through their use of the Services. MyEduIn processes Student Data solely as a School Official acting under the direction and control of the School. Upon termination of our agreement with a School, we will cease accessing the School's data source(s) within 72 hours, delete or de-identify all Student Data within 72 hours, and purge remaining backups within 60 days. We maintain access logs of Student Data access, available to Schools upon request.

Our Commitment to Student Data Privacy

We are committed to protecting Student Personal Data in compliance with applicable laws, including FERPA and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"). Our agreements with Schools, this Privacy Policy, and relevant privacy laws govern our collection and use of Student Personal Data. We implement additional safeguards to ensure that Student Personal Data is used solely for educational purposes and is not used for targeted advertising. We do not sell Student Personal Data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes, except as necessary to provide the educational services. If you have any questions about reviewing, modifying, or deleting the personal information of a School User, please contact the School directly. Schools can manage student data through their administrative dashboards or by contacting us. We also ensure that any third-party service providers who may have access to Student Personal Data are contractually bound to uphold the same privacy and security standards as MyEduIn, in compliance with FERPA.

Creation of School Accounts

To have accounts recognized as "School Accounts" (as defined in our Terms of Service), the accounts must be created by or under the direction of a School, using a school-issued email address and associated with a School's class or group on our Services. Examples of how School Accounts can be created include:

When we do not have a separate agreement with a School district or educational agency, we may require notification that the accounts are intended for school purposes to recognize them as School Accounts. If you are a School, please contact our School Partnerships Team at support@myeduin.com to learn more about setting up and managing student accounts as School Accounts.

12. Children's Privacy

This privacy notice supplements our Privacy Policy and provides additional information about how we collect, use, and disclose personal information from children under the age of 13 ("Child" or "Children"). MyEduIn is committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") and other applicable children's privacy laws.

Age Screening for Individual, Parent, and Teacher Accounts

When any individual — including a person registering as a parent, teacher, or other individual user, outside of a School Account — creates an account, we collect a date of birth as part of registration. We do not ask a leading yes/no age question; account status is determined from the date of birth provided.

During the sign-up procedure for Individual accounts, the registrant must enter a date of birth before an account can be created. If the date of birth indicates the registrant is under 13, sign-up cannot proceed: we do not create an account or a Restricted Account, and we do not collect any further personal information from the registrant. A child under 13 can still use MyEduIn, but only by being added to a Parent or Teacher account or a School Account, as described in Section 13 below.

This process applies to any account creation outside of a School Account, regardless of whether the registrant identifies as a parent, teacher, or individual student.

Our Commitment to Children's Privacy

At MyEduIn L.L.C., protecting the privacy of children is of utmost importance. We have implemented specific measures designed to safeguard personal information relating to children ("Child Users"). When a Child User creates an account, we collect their information in compliance with applicable laws, including seeking consent from a parent or legal guardian ("Parent") for account creation. When MyEduIn is used by a School in an educational setting, we rely on the School to provide the necessary consent on behalf of the Parent for us to collect information from a Child User for educational purposes. We do not require a child to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in an activity.

How Children Can Use and Register for Our Services

Children may view content and participate in exercises on our platform without creating an account; however, functionality is limited for users without an account. To access full features, a Child User must create an account with verifiable parental or school consent.

MyEduIn does not knowingly permit Child Users to create an account without the consent of a Parent or School. If we learn that personal information of a Child User has been collected without Parent or School consent, we will take appropriate steps to delete this information promptly. If you are a Parent and discover that your child under the age of 13 has registered for our Services without your consent, please contact us at support@myeduin.com to request the deletion of your child's personal information. We encourage parents to monitor their children's online activities and to review our Privacy Policy and Children's Privacy Notice regularly.

Methods for Creating Child User Accounts and Obtaining Consent

1. Parent- and Teacher-Invited Accounts

A Child User cannot self-register for MyEduIn. A Parent or Teacher must first create their own Parent or Teacher account, then invite the Child into their account from within it. Because this invitation is an affirmative action taken by an authenticated adult account holder — rather than a request sent to an unverified address and merely hoped for — it constitutes verifiable parental consent under COPPA at the moment the Child is invited.

The Child User's account is created directly as a Restricted Account, described below, with no waiting period. A Parent may review, modify, or delete the Child User's personal information, or remove the Child from their account, at any time through their Parent Account.

2. School-Created Accounts

When our Services are used by a School in an educational setting, we allow the School to create Child User accounts and provide consent on behalf of the Parent for us to collect personal information from the Child User for educational purposes. Schools may create Child User accounts by:

In these cases, we rely on the consent provided by the School, which acts as the Parent's agent and assumes responsibility for obtaining verifiable parental consent under COPPA. We do not require additional consent directly from the Parent when consent is provided by the School.

Parent Accounts and Control Over Child User Accounts

Because a Child User's account is created from within a Parent's account, the Parent must have their own verified Parent Account on our platform to invite, manage, or remove a Child User's account. The Parent Account allows the Parent to manage settings, monitor progress, review collected information, and modify or delete the Child User's account. In some instances, administrative controls may be held by the School, which would override direct parental controls for school-managed accounts.

Restricted Accounts for Child Users

We implement Restricted Accounts for Child Users to limit the sharing and display of personal information and ensure a safe learning environment. Features of a Restricted Account include:

Information We Collect from Child Users and How We Use It

When a child user registers for our services, we collect a username, date of birth, and Parent's email address. For school-created accounts, we may collect similar information from the School. We also collect information about the Child User's activities on the platform, such as tests taken and performance statistics. Additionally, we collect usage and device information as described in the "Information We Collect" section of our Privacy Policy, but this is always anonymized or aggregated for Child Users unless explicit parental consent is obtained.

We use this information to provide and personalize our Services, communicate with the Child User and Parent (via the Parent's email), improve our offerings, develop new features, and protect the safety of our users. We also use it to comply with legal requirements, including COPPA. For more details on how we use collected information, please refer to the "How We Use Your Information" section of our Privacy Policy. We do not use personal information from Child Users for targeted advertising.

Disclosure of Information Related to Child Users

Restricted Accounts limit the sharing of a Child User's personal information. A username and progress information may be disclosed to Coaches or teachers associated with the Child User's account for educational purposes. We do not disclose personal information of Child Users to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Parents may enable additional information sharing features through their Parent Account, such as adding profile information or allowing the Child User to post content on the platform, but these features are carefully moderated. Parents should monitor their Child User's activity and remove any personal information if necessary. We may also disclose personal information of Child Users for business purposes as described in the "Sharing Your Information" section of our Privacy Policy, but only to service providers who are necessary for the operation of our Services and who are contractually bound to protect the privacy of Child Users.

No Third-Party Tracking and No Targeted Advertising

MyEduIn does not display targeted advertising on our Services. We do not disclose personal information of Child Users for direct marketing or targeted advertising purposes. We take steps to disable third-party ad networks on pages directed to children or when a Child User is logged into a Restricted Account.

Parental Access, Modification, and Deletion of Child Accounts

As a Parent, you have the ability to access and control information about your Child User through your Parent Account. You can review your child's personal information, request changes, or refuse future collection or use of your child's personal information by deleting the Child User's account. Please note that you must delete the Child User's account before deleting your Parent Account.

If you do not have a Parent Account associated with your Child User's Restricted Account, you may contact us at support@myeduin.com to access, modify, or delete the Child User's account. We may require verification of your identity before fulfilling such requests to ensure the child's privacy and security.

13. Children's Privacy Notice

This Children's Privacy Notice explains how MyEduIn collects, uses, and protects information from children under the age of 13 ("Child" or "Children"). It works together with the Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

As described in Section 12 above, MyEduIn does not permit a child under 13 to self-register for an Individual account: date of birth is collected during Individual sign-up, and registration does not proceed if it indicates the registrant is under 13. A child under 13 can only use MyEduIn as part of a Parent or Teacher account or a School Account:

If you are a parent or guardian and believe we collected information from a child under 13 without the required consent, please contact us at support@myeduin.com so we can review and delete the information as appropriate.

14. Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA)

MyEduIn's Services consist of academic test preparation and assessment content and do not include surveys, analyses, or evaluations covering political affiliations, mental or psychological health, sex behavior or attitudes, illegal or self-incriminating behavior, critical appraisals of family members, religious practices, or income, as protected under PPRA. We do not use personal information collected through the Services for marketing purposes.

15. Links to Other Websites

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by MyEduIn L.L.C.

Using a third-party website is at your own risk, and we encourage you to be aware when you leave our Services.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any updates or changes.

17. Contact Us

If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us:

We are committed to responding to your inquiries promptly and resolving any concerns you may have.
