2. Acceptance of Terms

Eligibility:

• Individual, Parent, and Teacher Accounts (created outside a School): Registrants provide a date of birth at signup. Users 13 or older may create an account directly, provided users between 13 and 17 represent that a parent or legal guardian has agreed to these Terms on their behalf. Users under 13 may not create an account directly — a parent or guardian must complete verifiable parental consent, as described in our Privacy Policy's Children's Privacy Notice section, before the account is activated.
• School Accounts: Accounts created by or under the direction of a School (including via teacher-created accounts, single sign-on services such as Clever and ClassLink, or student-created accounts at School direction) are governed by the "Schools and Student Use" and "Children's Privacy Notice" sections of our Privacy Policy, under which the School acts on behalf of the Parent regardless of the student's age.

3. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. Any changes will become effective upon posting the revised Terms on our website and updating the 'Effective Date' at the top. We will provide additional notice of significant changes, such as sending you an email notification or posting a prominent notice within our Services.

Your continued use of the Services after the revised Terms have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Services.
